Note: The Buon'Amici Lodge in Hanover, PA provides scholarships to graduating students at these local high schools (i.e., Hanover, Southwestern, Delone, Gettysburg, Littlestown, New Oxford, and Spring Grove). 

For the Buon’Amici Lodge Scholarship the graduating student must have been born in Italy or be a descendent, spouse or adopted individual of one of Italian lineage. Membership in a lodge is not required.

For high schools other than those indicated above and for other grant or scholarship opportunities (e.g., for 8^th graders, seniors and college students) see your State OSIA web site, (www.sonsofitalypa.org), the York Lodge Scholarship found at www.ccsfyorkpa.org, and the National OSIA web site (www.osia.org) and click on “Scholarships”. Through state and national scholarships the Sons of Italy Foundation has also provided millions of dollars in scholarships.  To be eligible for a state or national scholarship from OSIA a parent must be a member of an OSIA lodge for at least two (2) years, the student must have a B – 85 – 3.0 average and must file applications to the appropriate state or national address by February 27.
